About

Hey guys, my name is Blair. I’m not going to lie — I feel extremely awkward telling people about myself unless I’m asked a specific question, or it’s something funny. Which is pretty odd for someone who likes to write & blog. So, I’m going to just list out some basics for y’all… here we go:

I’m 28 29

I live in Raleigh, North Carolina

My husband’s name is Alex. We met when we were twelve years old and were friends for more than a decade before starting a relationship. We are an odd, nerdy, quiet couple who would much prefer watching Netflix all day than going anywhere close to representing a bar. Hell, we even got married in Vegas just to avoid commotion and attention.

I’ve lived in 7 different states. (MA, NJ, CT, NY, PA, UT, NC) If you’re curious… Utah was my unexpected favorite.

I have a 3-yr-old rescue cat named Pix and a kitten named Tora. They are filling the void until we have children. (Don’t worry, they won’t be replaced when our human kids come along)

I grew up in a small rural town in upstate New York where the cows out-populate the people.

I love school and heavily consider going back all the time. (Yes, I’m a nerd.)

I live by the simple idea that life can be a shit storm and is rarelyΒ easy. Always find humor where you can. It makes it a lot more manageable.

I’ll probably update this page when I can think of some more things to add. I’ll always answer questions if you post them below, though! Thanks for reading, guys.

My husband & I are complete nerds too! We don’t go out a lot, rather we put starwars legos together while watching the Flash.lol He’s actually from Utah, I’ve been there a few times and absolutely love it there! The mountains & the no humidity are two of my favorite parts!

We don’t have kids yet either, so our 3 doggies keep us busy! I just wanted to say hi & thanks for the follow! πŸ™‚

I’m the same three (cats, coffee, crudeness) but working towards 2-1/2 (to be more polite– but, I’m not). At least it’s real, though. Thanks for rescuing the kitties, and I love Tora’s name!

    Hey,

I read some of your recent posts, and I really liked them. You are quite funny, and I love how you turn the most mundane things in life, funny.

Looking forward to more from you.

    Regards,
    Ankush.

I can totally relate to the awkwardness of writing about “self”. It is so strange! I’ve been meaning to stop by here and read for some time now, so I’m going to get to it now πŸ™‚

Hello Blair, the name of your blog intrigues me πŸ™‚ what is the story behind it ? I have been meaning to come over and thank you for the follow – and I will return for a wander in your paddock when I have more time to smell the roses and munh on the sweet grass. In the meantime, thanks for your visits to my pastures

‘Shameful’ is just because most of my posts are semi-inappropriate/shameful. ‘Sheep’ is a tag I’ve used for over a decade. When I was young and started online gaming my sister told me to use the tag ‘Sheep.’ I’ve been some variation of it for years in different languages and contexts πŸ™‚

I went to back to school in my forties. It was one of those goals I promised myself that “someday” I would achieve. I never regretted it. Finished my bachelors and then decided to get a masters. Funny thing is, I did it online thanks the the University of N. Carolina. Now a visit to your state is one of my goals.
Love your writing. I laugh and laugh, mostly because I am finding we are a lot alike.
